'URICKEA' is a spacious two storey, detached family holiday home.  It has been refurbished to a very high standard, is very well equipped, with all modern facilities and very comfortable to live in.  Well located in the heart of Jamestown,  convenient for shopping and restaurants with only a short distance from the sea front.

GROUND FLOOR:

 

LOUNGE: is comfortably furnished with a sofa, armchairs, footstool, TV, DVD, Radio/CD player. There are also a selection of reading material and board games; front door leads onto the front veranda.

 

DINING ROOM: large dining table and chairs seating 6 adults comfortably. Dresser/storage cupboard space and an easy chair.

 

KITCHEN: well equipped, including electric double oven cooker, refridgerator, freezer, microwave, electric kettle and toaster. The rear door leads to the patio.

 

PATIO:  enclosed area with outdoor table and chairs for your use.

 

FIRST FLOOR:

 

LANDING: gives access to all bedrooms, bathroom and upstairs veranda.

 

BEDROOM 1: the master bedroom is a very comfortable and spacious large room, furnished with a pine double bed, bedside cabinets, wardrobe, dresser and 2 easy chairs.  Windows overlook the side and private 'woodlands' to rear of the property.

 

BEDROOM 2: to the front of the property and facing south,  furnished with a double bed, bedside cabinets, wardrobe and dresser, timbered flooring.

 

BEDROOM 3: has 2 full size single pine beds, bedside cabinets and combination wardrobe/dresser. This room is at the rear of the property and overlooks private woodlands, timbered flooring.  

 

BATHROOM: very spacious room which consists of a bath, toilet, seperate shower cubicle and wash hand basin. Running hot water provided by solar panel heating with a backup emersion.

 

VERANDA:  facing south, timbered flooring with folding relaxing chairs.

 

TARIFF 2012

 

LONG TERM RENTAL: more than 6 months; deposit required = 1 month's rental with booking; plus one months rent paid in advance. Monthly payments thereafter.  A tenancy agreement will apply.  Deposit returned after tenancy.

 

MEDIUM TERM: minimium rental  3 months and for up to 6 months;  25% deposit of rental costs required to secure the booking; inventory deposit of £100.  Inventory deposit refunded within 7 days after departure, pending property inspection for breakages/damages/repairs, & any unpaid bills.  Reasonable wear & tear excluded.  Terms & Conditions apply.

 

PRICE per MONTH or part month = £450.00 (Minimium rental = 3 months) for more information contact the owner via email details below.

 

(Note: Long and Medium terms rentals; Electricity, water, telephone, Internet, TV decoder/set up = The 'hirer' must set up own account with suppliers and are responsible for all bills. The owner will assist in making arrangements with the suppliers on your request)

 

 

SHORT TERM RENTAL: property occupied per night; deposit required is 25% to secure the booking;  balance to be paid 20 working days prior to arrival and occupancy of the property.  See tariff below;

 

Tariff rates:

1 - 8 nights      = £ 64.99 per night GBP

9 - 18 nights    = £ 54.99 per night GBP

19-28 nights    = £ 44.99 per night GBP

over 28 nights = £ 26.99 per night GBP

Inventory Deposit = £100  which is refunded within 7 days of departure pending property inspection for breakages/damages/repairs.  Reasonable wear & tear excluded. Terms & Conditions for hire apply.

 

(Note: Electricity, water, local telephone calls only are inclusive.  Any additional usage above the 'free' allowance will be charged at the appropriate rate.  See terms & conditons.  A first night starter pack of basic food items is provided on arrival.  TV connection fee/decoder and/or internet service can be set up with local supplier if required and the hirer is responsible for payments for set up and service.  Contact the owner for more information, arrangements can be made for you.)

SERVICES

Urickea has an appointed agent on the Island; will help if required to set up supplier accounts and queries during your stay. 

A fully plumbed in automatic washing machine is also installed for your use.

No overeas calls authorised unless private set up with supplier.

 

RESTRICTIONS:

Smoking is not permitted on the premises of Urickea to include the grounds 

Sorry PETS are not allowed.

People living in the house must be over 15 yrs old. Exceptions considered with permission of the owner at time of booking.

Only those persons listed on the booking form may occupy the property.

 

OTHER

Owner is not responsible for changes to the 'RMS St.Helena' sailing schedule.  

An immediate deposit payment is required to secure booking/reservation.

'Urickea' operates a 'meet & greet' service on arrival & departure.
